CUofSS Student Portal

Existing Student Registration

For students admitted to CUofSS before the online portal was introduced.

This page is for existing CUofSS students only. Use it only if you were already admitted and studying at CUofSS before this portal existed. This is not an application for admission — if you are seeking a place at CUofSS, apply through the Admissions application portal instead. Enter your details exactly as they appear on your university records.

What happens after you submit

  1. The Registry checks your identity against the university’s own records and the documents you upload here.
  2. Your Head of Department confirms your programme, year and semester. If they believe you are placed differently, they say so and the Registrar decides.
  3. The Registrar approves. Only at this point does your student record become real.
  4. Everything else is set up for you — your curriculum, your academic record, your fees for this period, your library membership, and an invitation to activate your portal account. You do not have to ask for any of it.

Nothing you enter here creates an account or a bill on its own. Until the Registrar approves, this is a claim the university is checking.

The registration number issued to you by CUofSS when you were admitted.

The year you first started at CUofSS.

Fees and registration deadlines differ by mode.

Tell us where you are in your programme — the year and semester you are about to study, not the one you started in. This decides which courses you will be offered when you register, so it must match your own progress even if the university is running a different part of its calendar right now. Your fees will be worked out for the 2026/2027 academic year, whichever semester of your programme you are in.

A clear head-and-shoulders photograph on a plain background — JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 4 MB. It is printed on your examination card, result slip and academic documents, so use a recent one. You may leave this blank and bring a photograph to the Registry instead.

Leave this blank if you don’t know — the Registry will fill it in.

Fee balance you still owe from before the portal (optional)

If you still owe fees from the years before this portal existed, tell us here. Nothing you enter is charged to you as it stands — the Bursary checks it against the university’s own records and it is their figure, not yours, that appears on your account. Leave it blank if you owe nothing or are not sure.

Additional personal details (optional)

These complete your student record. The Registry can fill in anything you leave blank.

Attach anything that proves you studied here — your old ID, a registration slip, a results slip or a fee receipt. PDF, JPG or PNG, up to 5 MB each. The Registry checks these before your registration goes any further.

What happens next: the Registry verifies your registration number and personal details against the university’s records. Nothing is approved automatically. Once your details are confirmed, your student record is created and you can activate your portal account using your registration number and date of birth.
